Frequently Asked Questions

Coverage

No, this insurance is not the same as major medical insurance. This insurance helps supplement any other insurance you may have.

Accident Insurance helps with your out-of-pocket medical expenses for an injury due to a covered accident. Accident & Sickness Insurance helps with your out-of-pocket medical expenses if you are injured in a covered accident or fall sick with a covered illness. Accidental Death Plus Insurance helps with unexpected expenses due to a covered serious injury or accidental death.

Coverage depends on your individual needs for you and your family. We all know that one size does not fit all. That’s why we created 3 plan options with different coverage levels based on your needs.

These products may supplement your existing health insurance coverage you may have. Benefits can be used to help with co-pays and deductibles not covered under your health plan. But you could also use the cash benefits for anything you want – from household expenses to ubers so you can focus on your recovery.

If you apply for family coverage, your spouse and/or eligible dependent children are covered. If you select the individual plan your family is not covered.

You cannot purchase the Accident Insurance plan and the Accident & Sickness Insurance plan together but you can purchase Accident Insurance with Accidental Death Plus Insurance or the Accident & Sickness Insurance with the Accidental Death Plus Insurance plan. You cannot buy two or more plans of the same product.

Coverage will become effective on the Effective Date shown in the Schedule page of the Policy at 12:01 A.M. standard time at Your place of residence. Coverage will be considered effective upon receipt and processing of payment and issuance of Plan Documents.

No, there is no deductible for any of our products.

The plan can pay you directly or whomever you choose.

Cash benefits on approved claims are paid directly to you (or whomever you choose) and can be used to help cover household bills, medical payments, or anything you or your designee wish.

Benefits for a covered accidental death are paid directly to your designated beneficiary, to use as they see fit.
